The Prince welcomes you

Scientist 1: “Look who is coming to greet us at the second anomaly. We didn’t expect you to make it.”

Scientist 2: “Who do you mean with “We”? I’ve always believed in you!”

Scientist 1: “Yes, yes, of course. Let’s focus on saving the world. Our radiation metre detected the second anomaly here.”

Scientist 2: “Let’s not get distracted. We found in the archives that this building, which now houses the town hall, used to be the station for the historic Prince Henri line, connecting Ettelbruck to Grevenmacher. We also found an old recording of a train announcement.”

Scientist 1: “Exactly. But so far, we haven’t been able to find out in which year the last passenger train operated on the Prince Henri line. We only know that it started in 1874. That is the missing puzzle piece! Listen to the recording, maybe you can find out with these three options.

If passenger service was discontinued in 1954, write down the number 1.

If the last passenger train operated on this route in 1946, write down the number 5.

However, if passenger service was only discontinued in 1974, write down the number 9.”
